Meeting Format

Program sessions will be initiated by one hour invited (plenary) lectures, to highlight major accomplishments, trends and technical challenges of scientific computing in selected fields of research Papers selected on the basis of extended abstracts will be presented (25 minutes duration) in parallel sessions. Poster sessions will be held on <to be decided later> in the first afternoon session (14.30-15.30). No other meetings will be scheduled during that time, so that the full attention will be focused on the poster presentations. Each poster will be up for the whole day. It is expected that the author of the poster paper is present at the session.   Social Program The conference will have a social event for participants and accompanying persons. The registration fee includes a reception and conference banquet at Castillo de Santa Barbara during the evening of June 29, 2005.  Accompanying persons are free at the banquet if an email is sent ahead of time to cmmse to note the number of persons.  There will be a conference gift and an excursion is expected, although details remain to be announced.
