The Research Group of Electrocatalysis and Polymer Electrochemistry (G.E.P.E.) was created in 1994, is ascribed to the Department of Physical Chemistry of the University of Alicante and belongs to the Universitary Institute of Materials of Alicante (I.U.M.A.). The main labours of the Group are the fundamentals studies of electrochemical reactivity of pollutants present in waters, the preparation and characterization of new electrocatalytic materials and the generation and characterization of conductive polymers.
Several Research Topics are being developed in the Fundamental and Applied Electrochemistry fields and, due to this work more that 70 papers have been published in journals of Electrochemistry, Physical Chemistry and Materials Science. In addition 5 book chapters have been published and more than 30 contributions to International Congress have been presented. Other Research works completed in our Group are have been: five PhD Thesis and nine Diploma Thesis.
