The University of Alicante is -through the Office of the Vice-President for Co-ordination & Communication- organising visits for the students' parents. The objectives of such visits are: 
 

To promote the parents' sound understanding of the University's facilities and services since    the institution is in charge of their sons/daughters education. To provide freely-available communication channels between the University and parents. To encourage the parents collaboration towards a better understanding of the University. To establish new links between society and our University.

 

Parents whose sons/daughters enter the university are phoned at the very beginning of each academic year to invite them to visit our campus. The visit will last about three hours and student volunteers from higher courses are responsible to guide parents around the campus after a welcoming ceremony. Once the visit is completed, a departure ceremony will be held.

• 17:30 Welcome from University Officers at the Auditorium (Faculty of Law).
• 17:45 University President speech.
• 18:00 Guided tour around the Campus.
• 19:30 Refresments at the Courtyard at the Lecture Building no. 2 

• International Relations Centre.
• General Library.
• Lecture Building no. 2
• Lecture rooms where study programmes are taught.
• Sports/Medical Service.
• 'Bosque Ilustrado'.
• Lecture Building no. 1
