The director of the University of Alicante's Institute of Organic Synthesis and Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Miguel Yus Astiz, has received further recognition of his work. On this occasion, Professor Yus has been awarded the Portuguese-Spanish Chemistry Award "Lourenço-Madinaveitia Conference" 2011.
