User's guide

The analogue telephone line provides the traditional telephone system with a wide range of "supplementary telephone sevices" (consultation through a current call, call waiting, speed dialing, call-back, etc... 

This guide includes useful practical guidance for users to enjoy all the services available.

    Internal calls

  • Pick up the phone
  • Wait for dialing tone
  • Dial the desired in-company number
  • External calls
  • Pick up the phone

  • Dial number 0 
  • Dial the desired number 
  • Speed dialing
  • Pick up the phone
  • Wait for dialing tone
  • Dial: 

  •        * 51 * desired number * complete number (including 0 if external) # 
  • The speed dial number is the key where it is recorded: 1, o 2, o 3 ... 
  •  Wait for verification tone

    TO DIAL: 

  • Dial ** abbreviated number 
  • Automatic call-back
     If you receive an engaged tone when calling an internal number,
  • dial number 6 
  • wait for verification tone
  • put the phone down

  • When the called number is free, you will be automatically called back. 
    The call-back is automatically cancelled after 8 seconds without an answer. 
    In the meantime, you can receive and make calls. 

    CANCELLATION OF ALL CALL-BACKS: 

  • Pick up the phone 
  • Wait for dialing tone
  • dial # 37 # 
  • Wait for verification tone 
  • Put the phone down

    CALL-BACK CANCELLATION: 

  • Follow the same proceedings, but dialing: 

  • # 37 * internal number # 


    Consultation

  • Press R button
  • Wait for dialing tone 
  • Dial the desired number (internal or external) 
  • Submit your consultation 
  • Dial number 2 to recover original conversation

  • Call transfer

  • Press R button
  • Wait for dialing tone 
  • Dial internal number 
  • Wait for an answer and announce the call (this stage can be omitted) 
  • Put down the phone 
  • Multi-conference
  • Press R button
  • Wait for dialing tone
  • Dial the new number joining the talk 
  • Warn the new member about the multi-conference he/she is going to join
  • Dial number 3

    By repeating this procedure, you can introduce a maximum of 8 speakers. All of them will hear a warning tone every 15 seconds. 

    Call capture
  • Pick up the phone 
  • Wait for dialing tone 
  • Dial the internal number being called
  • Wait until an engaged tone
  • Dial number 8 

  • If you belong to a call-capture group (you should request it to the system administrator), you can answer any call directed to the group by dialing * 8 # 


    Call deviation
    You should apply for this option to the system administrator. 

  • Pick up the phone 
  • Wait for dialing tone
  • dial one of the following codes 

  • * 21 # - Immediate deviation 
    * 211 # - Deviation if absent (5 tones and then transferred to the deviation number) 
    * 212 # - Deviation if engaged (is connected when the extension is engaged) 
  • Wait for verification tone
  • Put the phone down

    Deviation cancellation
    Follow the same proceedings by dialing now: 

  • # 21 # - Immediate deviation 
  • # 211 # - Deviation if absent 
  • # 212 # - Deviation if engaged 

  • Follow me (call forward)
    If you are going to leave temporarily you post and wish to be called at the new place, you can programme a deviation to the new extension: 

  • Pick up the phone 
  • Wait for dialing tone
  • Dial  * 21 * answering number # 
  • Wait for verification tone 
  • Put the phone down

    While the phone is programmed with this deviation system, you can  use it as usual. 
    To CANCEL this service, dial  # 21 #


    Do not disturb
    If you do not want to receive any call at your extension: 

  • Pick up the phone 
  • Wait for dialing tone 
  • Dial * 27 # 
  • Put the phone down 

  • To  CANCEL this service: 
  • Dial # 27 # 

  • Authorisation code
    It is possible to assign a series of personal authorisation codes to the extension, according to the traffic category with the aim of blocking exit calls from the previously mentioned traffic category. 
    There is also a way of assigning an electronic padlock to block exit calls, without identifying the user.

    Both services should be requested from the system administrator.
