1999-2000 ACADEMIC CALENDAR 

1. ACADEMIC YEAR COMMENCEMENT:     27 September
 - 1st four-month period:      27 September to 21 January
 - 2nd four-month period:     14 February to 2 June

2. END OF LECTURES:       2 June

3. HOLIDAYS:
 - Christmas:       24 December to 6 January
 - Easter:            20 to 30 April

4. REGISTRATION PERIOD:
During the months of September and October, according to the regulations passed by the Governing Board.

5. EXAMINATION PERIOD:
   5.1. New syllabuses:
    5.1.1. Extraordinary Call of December (*):   20 November to 23 December
    5.1.2. Call of June:
          - 1st four-month period subjects:  22 January to 12 February
          - Annual, 1st and 2nd four-month period subjects:   3 June to 8 July

During examination periods, lessons are discontinued. For rooms usage on any purpose other than examination, the corresponding booking should be made at the Negociado de Gestión de Espacios (Department of Spare Room Management)

    5.1.3. Call of September:     1 to 23 September

   5.2. Former syllabuses:
      5.2.1. Extraordinary Call of December (*):   20 November to 23 December

* Lessons will not be discontinued during the extraordinary call of December. Examination dates shall be made public at least 7 days prior to the first examination commencement. 
      5.2.2. Call of June:      3 June to 8 July
For the period of  23 January to 12 February, partial examinations will be taken, where appropriate.
      5.2.3. Call of September:   1 to 23 September

6. EXAMINATION CERTIFICATE DELIVERY:

Former and new syllabuses:

  - Call of June:     prior to 15 July
  - Call of September:   prior to 28 September
  - Extraordinary Call of December:  prior to 20 January

7. TIMETABLES ORGANISATION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2000-2001:

- From 15 April to 30 May.
