RESEARCH QUALITY ASSESSMENT The University of Alicante is committed to promote research high quality as a fundamental priority, both for basic and applied research. To such effect, a Sub-Committee for Research Quality Management will be created within the heart of the Research Committee, with the proper external advise. This Sub-Committee -co-ordinated by the Office of the Vice President for Research- will be responsible for rising proposals, especially those supporting basic research and competitive research organisation.  Research quality management is very much related to the UAPARC Project, especially to aspects such as new installations, research equipment and funding (e.g. Fifth Framework Programme), new services and instruments, operating units development, policies for active technology transfer and international validation.
