Incoming Students

Information available on the Subject Profiles

When clicking on the Study Programme, the list of subjects or units appears. The code is in braquets next to the name of the subject. Each subject has a particular number of credits (theoretical+practicals).

Exchange students can take subjects of any year ("curso") and among
all the types: core, compulsory or optional subjects ("troncal", "obligatoria" or "optativa").

Clicking on each subject, the Subject Profile can be seen, with the following information:

1) "Datos Generales", where the number of UA credits and ECTS credits can be found (1 UA credits is the same as 10 contact hours), with a brief description of the subject and the Department in charge of the teaching.

2) "Datos Matrícula", with information of no importance for the students.

3) "Horarios y Grupos". Under the section "Horarios", the timetables of the theoretical classes can be consulted, for each group of assistance. On the other hand, on "Grupos de matrícula" the students can see either the number of the groups and its teaching period. Under "Cuatrimestre" it is possible to know if it's a 1st semester or Fall semester unit ("1er."), 2nd sem or Spring semester unit ("2do."), or annual one ("Anual").
 

4) "Objetivos y Programa", where the aim of the subject is established along with the contents, the syllabus. If the contents of the courses are not available on internet, students must request them to the Departments in charge of their teaching.

5) On "Docencia y Profesores" the name of the teachers are indicated along with the description of the classes.

6) "Recursos", with the information on bibliography.

7) "Evaluación", with the dates and rooms where the exams will take place, and information on the assessment.
