URGENT HELP IN HAITI FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS Haiti has been devasted by an earthquake which has caused thousands of victims and demolished one of the poorest cities on the planet. The UA will assign its 2010 budget for humanitarian aid to alleviate the effects of devastation. Also, individual contributions in the Valencian region can be deposited in an account open at the CAM banking entity (2090.3191.15.0064028703) to raise funds for this purpose up to 15 February 2010. Apart from the emergency help, the UA will launch cooperation relations with the University of Haiti with the aim of collaborating in its rebuilding. |
