Oncampus parking areas.
The
Campus of San Vicent del Raspeig is designed to host a higher number of
vehicles than it is hosting at present. Nevertheless, the oldest area's
urban structure (Sciences Faculty -Northern area) was not designed with
enough room for the University staff to park there. Therefore, we
demand a bit of solidarity to avoid strict measures for restricting
parking area as occurs in most universities (see the case of Harvard). Useful recommendations:
- If you are a campus visitor, leave your car in Parking Area no.1 on enclosed map.
- Use the recommended parking areas as suggested on enclosed map.
- Do not leave valuable objects inside parked cars.
- Be respectful with the parking areas reserved for the disabled.
- Do not leave your car on unauthorized places, especially in risky or dangerous places.
- Do not drive along pedestrian areas without permission from the security guards.
- Buses should be parked at the places reserved for them.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
| 1. |
For
visitors and university members, especially recommended for the staff
and users of the Aulario II, General Library, Postgraduate programmes,
General Services Building-Vice-Chancellor's Office, University
Institutes, Germán Bernácer Building, Faculty of Business
Administration, Social Sciences Departments, and next available Optics
and Polytechnic College --once the nearby buildings are finished. To go
to the museum and commercial area, we also recommend this parking area.
Bus companies should reserve an area for oncampus parking. |
