INTRODUCTION As it happened last March 1999, a very active group of students from the Faculty of Law is organising the 4th Conference of Penal Law Students, to be held on 15, 16 and 17 March 2000 at the University Auditorium. They have been gathered, on the one hand, in the students' association Universitarios Progresistas and on the other, joined the members of the Area of Penal Law, in the Association for the Study of Penal Sciences (AECIPE). Last year, the organisers' expectations were overwhelmed with the 850 registered participants, the success achieved by the lecturers' interventions, logistic organisation and parallel events (reception at the Santa Bárbara castle, closing ceremony at the ZOO disco, etc.). Organisers, ready to improve last edition, have organised an exhaustive program with economic registration fees: 7.000 PTAs for students, including documentation and meals; 14.500 PTAs for visitors, including documentation, meals and 3-night accommodation with breakfast; 15.000 PTAs for professionals, including documentation and meals) and a high quality level in the lecturers performance. The Conference, organised by AECIPE, Universitarios Progresistas and the area of Penal Law, counts on the collaboration of the Office of the Vice-President for Extracurricular Activities, the Faculty of Law's Dean's Office, the Institute of Criminology, Film Club (Office of the Vice-President for Research), the Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo and Tecnos editorial. ALL FACULTY OF LAW'S STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE REGISTERED TO THE CONFERENCE WILL BE AWARDED 1 CREDIT FOR THEIR PRACTICUM II. A FREE ELECTIVE CREDIT HAS BEEN REQUESTED, ALTHOUGH INCOMPATIBLE WITH THAT FOR THE PRACTICUM II.

2) OTHER UNIVERSITIES' STUDENT. It includes registration fees, meals and accommodation (3 nights + breakfast):
