Language Exchange In order to improve your language training, you can also contact students at the University of Alicante interested in getting to know foreign students. This way students will improve their conversation skills in the foreign languages by trading conversation in Spanish for conversation in your language. Students are free to make their own arrangements. If you want to participate, you should fill in the corresponding registration form in our data base at the International Relations Centre, so that we can contact Spanish students to carry out an exchange with you. There are welcome-meetings for the participants in October, February, July, August and September Ask for more details upon your arrival at the International Relations Centre. COLLABORATION WITH STUDENT ASSOCIATONS At the University of Alicante, there are many different student organisations Nearly all of them participate in the integration of exchange students. They periodically organise informative meetings for the students from Alicante interested in exchanges and you may help them. If you want to support local students’ initiatives, we encourage you to do so. Any information you can bring with you about your university, region and/or country is of a great value. You are also encouraged to participate in the collaboration between International Relations and local television programmes produced by the University Media Workshop Bear in mind that the more
varied the exchange, the more productive it will be.
