They are our window to the world and a true reflection of our commitment and real expectations. Because the University of Alicante is provided with a hopeful future, and we all are committed, specially those, as it is my case, in charge of the fulfillment of its objectives. 

During this new period, we would like to start a program ensuring an increasing quality for the studies our students are going to be taught, self-demanding higher goals for the academic, administrative and management services this University offers them.

Students who are already incorporated in their learning activities, have met an attractive and friendly campus in which they will receive not only academic tuition but also unlimited opportunities to supplement their education in all the facets of their university life. The University invites the students to participate not only as observers but also as active and integrated members of the wide variety of initiatives organised from here. Likewise, the University urges them to participate in its own affairs through several bodies representing the students within the articles of incorporation.

Students should feel this University is their own in all its aspects and, thus, contribute to its improvement. International programs are devoted to widen their oportunities of mobility and promote exchange with foreign students in the campus. 

As for the students' integration into the labour market, we are working on postgraduate training programs so that we can offer a direct bridge to their employment. Because we are aware of this matter, our efforts to make it easier will be intensified. In-company training programs and job exchange databases are basic tools for this purpose.

We, as integrating members of this University, are starting this new journey aware of the challenge resulting from working for one of the most hopeful objectives to create science and teach it to whom, still young students, will be tomorrow's spine of the knowledge society.
