- You should submit application for parcial transfer of studies directly tothe Faculty or University College which organizes the studies equivalent to those started at the home country,   within the deadlines established by ecah centre (Faculty / University College).

The secretary's offices of the centres will inform on the documents required for submission.

All documents required should be officially translated and authenticated. The University of Alicante has a service for legal translation at the International Relations Centre

- You should certify that the foreign studies taken are official and have university level.

- Obtain recognition (validation) of at least 30 credits of subjects taken abroad  (around 5 subjects) correspoding to the contents of the degree to which you want to enter.  See legislation

Students with completed foreign studies cannot apply for simultaneous official approval of the degree and partial validation. If these students  get partial validation, they could not apply for subsequent official approval of the degree. If you have applied for the official approval of the degree, parcial validation cannot be requested unless the previous have been denied.

1.3For students with official degree programmes taken at foreign universities[nbsp]

In Spain, there are three ways to apply for academic recognition of the official university degree completed abroad.
a.-   Apply for official recognition of the university foreign titlefor the equivalent Spanish one from the Spanish Ministry of Education.

Applications

b.- Recognition of the academic degree from the Spanish Minitry of Education .

Applications

You would not apply for the recognition of a foreign title for the Spanish equivalent but only the recognition of the condition of holder of a diploma or degree programme, etc.
This makes recognition easier and has effects to enter other university programmes or the public/private market

c.- Apply, at the University of your interest, for Partial Credit Transfer to take an official degree programme in Spain recognizing at least 30 credits (5 subjects).

In this case, official approval of the degree and partial validation cannot be applied simultaneously. If these students  get partial validation, they could not apply for subsequent official approval of the degree. If you have requested official approval of the degree, you cannot apply for partial validation unless the previous has been denied.

The conditions envisaged on sections a and b allow applying for a place to other degree programmes throguh the system called "cupo de titulados", a quota system for already graduate students .

Admission to second-cycle programmes (to the last two years of certain degree programmes) is also possible
