GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN CRIMINOLOGY


   

Required supplementary subjects to have access to the second-cycle Graduate Programme in: GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN CRIMINOLOGY

Royal Decree 858/2003, of 4 July (B.O.E. 8-7-2003), by which the official Graduate Programme in Criminology and general directorates leading to award the title.

Eligible students to enter 2nd cycle of are the following Criminology:

1.- Holders of the 3-year programme in:

  • Occupational Therapy
  • Social Education
  • Public Administration
  • Social Work
  • Labour Relations
2.- Those who have successfully passed the 1st-cycle of the following programmes:
  • Philosophy
  • Medicine
  • Law
  • Psychology
  • Pedagogy
  • Sociology
  • Political & Administration Sciences
  • Journalism

Students should take -provided they have not taken them previously- 9 credits in Public Law (Constitutional or Administrative), 9 credits in Introduction to Sociology and 9 credits in Introduction to Psychology. 

3.- Also, holders of an official 1st-cycle programme with a title in CRIMINOLOGY issued by any university, with a minimum learning load of 50 credits, or whose syllabus has had a duration no less than an academic year and integrating six annual subjects at least.
This admission modality only apply to persons who have started studies in Criminology prior to the publication of this Royal Decree on the «Official Gazette of the Spanish State».

4.- Holders of the 3-year programme in Criminology validated by the Ministry of Education and Science as equal to a university 3-year programme (Diplomatura Universitaria) for access to the Graduate Programme in Criminology. The Order ECI/4171/2004, of 13 December (BOE 22-12-04), establishes the conditions for declaring equivalence of the title of Criminology with an official 3-year undergraduate programme to the only effects for admission in the Graduate Programme in Criminology.
