ACCESS TO 2nd-CYCLE
 GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & SPORTS SCIENCES


 
 

Required training supplements to have access to the second-cycle Graduate Programme in PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & SPORTS SCIENCES

Order of 11 October 1994 (BOE 19 October 1994) by which 1st-cycle study programmes and supplementary studies for access to the Graduate Programme in Physical Activity & Sports Sciences. 

Eligible students to enter this 2nd-cycle Programme are the following:

1.- a) Students who have successfully passed the 1st cycle of this programme.

2.- Holders of the 3-year Undergraduate Programme in: 

  • Primary Education- Speciality in Physical Education
They should -if they have not done before- take a total of 45 credits from between the core subjects next listed (with the minimum credits allocated to each of them: 

- Biological & Mechanical Bases in the Physical Activity & Sports: 8 credits.
- Sports Foundations: 20 credits.
- Basic Foundations & Expressions of Human Motorial Learning: 4 credits.
- Sports Theory & History: 4 credits.

  • The distribution of the number of credits for each subject will be organised by the corresponding universities. 
  • Universities could perform the admission tests of personal attitude for the physical and sports referred to at the Royal Decree 1423/1992, of 27 November, as a requirement before taking the supplementary training and qualifications established hereby.

 

PRE-ENROLLEMNT CALENDAR & APPLICATION FOR THE 2nd-CYCLE GRADUATE PROGRAMME

  • Application for the admission tests and pre-enrollment to the study programme: 1 to 21 June 2006.
  • Provisional list with the students admitted to the admission tests: 26 June.
  • Complaints against the list: 27 June
  • Shortlist publication: 28 June
CALENDAR FOR THE ADMISSION TESTS
  • Performance of the admission tests: 13 and 14 July 2006.
  • Provisional list with the admitted students: 19 July.
  • Complaints against the list: 20 and 21 July.
  • Final list with the students admitted for the tests and for pre-enrollment: 25 July.
  • Complaints against the list with the students admitted for pre-enrollment: 26 and 27 July
  • Final list of the students admitted for pre-enrollment: 31 July

 

The application form should be collected from the Administrative Secretary's Office at the Faculty of Education from 1 June.
Applicants will be given the form to pay the fees to take the admission tests along with the application form. Once the payment have been completed, students should submit the documents (including the proof of payment) to the Administrative Secretary's Office.

Academic Fees to take the admission tests for the 2nd-cycle in Physical Activities and Sports Sciences are €58.57.
