How to Join us

If you are interested in joining the Nanophysics group of the University of Alicante, there are some funding possibilities. We are happy to receive master students and visiting professors . Sometimes we might advertise open PhD and postdoctoral positions when funding is available. Other than this, different spanish and european funding agencies offer fellowships and grants on a regular basis. If you are a well trained and motivated person with the required degrees (BsC and/or PhD ) in physics, you speak either english or spanish, and you are looking forward to work hard doing research in nanophysics we can sponsor your application. Please, do not send your application if you do not match this description.

Timing. In most instances, it takes between 6 and 9 months between the application deadline for the grants and the starting dates. Openings occur once a year, and the application period last one month, tipically. In some instances, an official translation of your diplomas might be required by the granting institution (Spanish Ministry of Education). Therefore, it is crucial to contact us well ahead in time.
