I'm Ph.D. in Economics since 1994.

Once I concluded my formation at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, I moved to the University Alicante. Now I'm professor at the University of Alicante.

During the last years I have been teaching courses in Microeconomics, Game Theory, Mathematical Economics and (introductory) Statistics.


My research focuses on mechanisms design in economics, mainly related to

Coalition Formation and Matching Theory
- One-Sided Matching Problems.
- Two-Sided Matching Markets: Strategy-Proofness; mechanism design.
- Coalition Formation Problems: Stability and Mechanism Design.
- Job Matching Markets.
- School Choice Mechanisms.


Social Choice and Welfare Economics
- Bankruptcy Problems.
- Cost-Sharing (and Surplus-Sharing) Mechanisms.
- Implementation
- Auction Design; Contests Games.

I have been informing governmental agencies on the relevance of some reserach projects: ANEP, Spanish Ministry of Education and Science; AGAUR, Catalonian Council; ACSUCYL, council of Castilla and León; Social Choice and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

I was organizing the Spanish Job Market for Young Economists from January 2001 to December 2004.

I was the Secretary of the Spanish Economic Association from January 2003 to December 2005. Nevertheless, I'm not a Fellow of such an association. (How knows?)

I belong to the Spanish Comisión de Acreditación for the Social and Legal Sciences (Academia Program, ANECA)

I'm the head of the Department of Quantitative Methods and Economic Theory, University of Alicante.
