Welcome to the LT-NanoLab, a laboratory devoted to the study of the properties of nanometer-sized structures and of matter at Low Temperatures.

The LT-Nanolab is at the Aplied Physiscs Department of the Universidad de Alicante and forms part of the NanoPhysics Group of the UA.

Some of our main research subjects are:

  • Formation of metallic contacts
  • Electronic transport and magnetism in atomic contacts
  • Friction at the nanoscale
  • Electronic transport through single molecules
  • Electrochemistry for the fabrication of Nanostructures
This Laboratory started on 2004 at the Departamento de Física aplicada of the Universidad de Alicante (Spain) The strong support of the whole department in Alicante and the Laboratorio de Bajas Temperaturas of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid made possible this project.
