Cristina López Fernández graduated in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Madrid Complutense. She obtained her Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Alicante. At present, she is a tenured Lecturer at the Department of Sociology II, Psychology, Communication, and Didactics. She teaches techniques for social research, and is a member of the University Institute for Social Development and Peace. Her main research interest lies in the field of social trends for youth, environment, and health.
