Eva Espinar has a degree in Sociology (1999) and a PhD from the
University of Alicante (2003). She has been teaching courses on social
communication and culture at the University of Alicante and the Open
University of Catalonia (UOC). She has co-authored two handbooks in
sociology of communication, the latest published in 2006 by the
University of Alicante Press. Her publications include articles on
social communication, gender studies, youth culture, migration
movements, impoverishment processes, etc. Her most recent work focuses
on the impact of communication technologies on the daily life of
youths.
