In order to complete the Master's studies, 18 ECTS
credits must be obtained by means of (a) an MA research paper, (b) an academic period at a
European university, or (c) a course of professional practice at choice
cultural institutions.
For those students wishing
to follow an academic period at a European university, a number of agreements
are being negotiated with similar Postgraduate Programmes at the
Universities Aalborg (Denmark), Dalarna (Sweden), West
of England (UK), Szeged (Hungary), Pavol Josef Safarik (Slovakia),
Klaipéda (Lithuania), Oradea (Romania), and Winchester (UK). It is
envisaged that the list will be considerably expanded in the near future.
With the assistance of their
personal tutors, students will choose the host university and the
subjects, seminars, and modules that will best contribute to completing
their instruction in English Culture and Sociology during the second
semester of the Master's final academic session. Those who choose to
compose an MA research paper in order to obtain the 18 ECTS credits will
also be offered the possibility to travel abroad in order to avail
themselves of research libraries, fieldwork, and other research
facilities.
Financial aid in the form of
bursaries and loans is available from several programmes and institutions
both Spanish and European. For more information, click
