Home


Tuition fees for the two annual sessions, i.e. 90 ECTS credits, amount to
1,620 EUR inclusive of all aspects of teaching and assessment plus full access to the University research, leisure, and recreation facilities. Each credit ECTS is priced at 18 EUR, though this amount is provisional and may vary a little.

The registration process is carried out in two phases, pre-enrolment and enrolment. To know more about the enrolment process as carried out in the University of Murcia, click here and navigate as necessary.
 

Pre-enrolment

>

There are two periods for pre-enrolment (a) from 14th May 2007 to 13th July 2007; (b) from 17th September 2007 to 21st September 2007.

>

In either of these two periods, an application form must be filled in and submitted at the Centro de Estudios de Doctorado y Posgrado (CEDIP) of the University of Alicante either personally or electronically by clicking here.

>

Along with your application form, you must submit copies of the following documents either in Spanish or translated into this language:
 

  — The registration number assigned to your electronic application form, if you chose this method for pre-enrolment.
  — A photocopy of the degree diploma enabling you to apply for a post in the Master's course. See entry requirements here. If your degree has not been legally recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education, you will have to apply for a special permit called in Spanish Aceptaciσn Rectoral.
  — An official certificate of your academic performance showing the marks obtained for each of the subjects, seminars, or modules you had to pass to obtain your degree.
  — Documentary evidence that your level of English is sufficient to follow the Master's studies satisfactorily. Please note that if your mother tonge is not English and you cannot produce this type of evidence, you will have to pass a test and/or an interview before you are allowed to enrol.
  — A photocopy of your DNI (Spanish identification card), NIE, or passport if you are not a naturalized Spanish citizen.
  — Your CV.
  — A personal statement explaining the motives behind your decision to enrol in this Master's course.
 
> The admission lists for each of the two pre-enrolment periods will be made public on 27th July 2007 and 1st October 2007, respectively. If your application has not been successful and you wish to file a complaint, you can do so at the University Registry Office from 28th July 2007 to 24th August 2007, and from 2nd October 2007 to 5th October 2007.

Selection criteria

If there are more pre-enrolment applications than posts (i.e. 60 posts between the Universities of Alicante and Murcia — 30 posts each), the following selection criteria will be applied:
 

>

General academic performance as show in the official certificate submitted. [0 to 1 marks]

>

Specific academic performance in the subjects, seminars, or modules directly referred to the Master's studies. [0 to 2 marks]

>

Other complementary studies. [0 to 1 marks]

>

Grants and bursaries obtained to pursue studies at European or non-European universities. [0 to 1 marks].

>

Official academic periods at European or non-European universities.
[0 to 1 marks]

>

Evidence of the candidate's mastery of the English language.
[0 to 1 marks]

>

Evidence of the candidate's mastery of other languages [0 to 0.5 marks]

>

Professional experience in posts related to the Master's studies.
[0 to 0.5 marks]

>

Personal interview about your motives, future perspectives, and reasons to enrol in the Master's course. [0 to 2 marks]
 

Enrolment

> Those who were admitted in the May-July pre-enrolment period must enrol from 10th September 2007 to 14th September 2007.
> Those who were admitted in the September pre-enrolment period must enrol from 10th September 2007 to 5th October 2007.
