Jordi Sánchez Martí received a BA in English
Philology with Extraordinary Graduation Award from University
Jaume I, an MA cum laude in English Literature from the University
of Bristol (UK), and a PhD from Cornell University
(USA). He has conducted his research activities in universities from
English-speaking countries, holding the following positions: Visiting
Fellow, University of Bristol (2005–06),
Postdoctoral Research Fellow, University of
Stellenbosch (South Africa 2004), Junior
Research Fellow, John S. Knight Institute for Writing in the
Disciplines, Cornell University (2003–04),
Lecturer, Cornell University (2003), Andrew
Mellon Visiting Scholar, Wolfson College, University
of Cambridge and School of English Studies, University
of St Andrews (2002). His most relevant scholarly contributions have
appeared, or are forthcoming, in the following journals: Atlantis,
Bulletin of the John Rylands
University Library of Manchester, English Studies, Manuscripta,
Neophilologus, Philological Quarterly,
and Studies in Philology. Throughout his academic career, Jordi
Sánchez has been awarded the following research grants: Postdoctoral
Fellowship (MEC), Postdoctoral grant (AECI), Patricia Shaw Research
Grant (AEDEAN), Research Scholarship (Andrew Mellon Foundation), Sicca
